About Us
Nestled in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, Brandon & Co. was created to honor the life and legacy of our son, Brandon, who we lost in August of 2025. During the nights when sleep was rare, I processed grief by creating things to bring comfort for others grieving him. My first project was creating a personalized pendant from crushed opals and flower petals from Brandon’s celebration of life. This was practice for working with ashes to create wearable keepsakes for those missing a loved one. Once I was satisfied with that, I started thinking of other ways to create things to bring comfort to others.
During Brandon’s memorial, a lit candle was placed on a boulder with pictures of him. I continued to light that candle at home in the days and weeks following his loss as a way to feel connected to him. Years earlier I had experienced the loss of three sons before birth, and baby powder scented candles were something that brought me comfort. These experiences led me down the path of creating candles as a way of reflection of the love we shared. It was then that I decided to share Brandon’s legacy of kindness and helping others, and Brandon & Co. came to life.
Brandon loved the outdoors and often explored the mountains and beaches around our home in Washington State. He often foraged in local forests, and enjoyed hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, camping and sitting around a fire with family and friends. Many of our items are created with the people, places and memories we experienced together. From the woods, local farms and waterways, as well as influences from my Kentucky roots, there is something here for everyone. We are proud to use the highest quality ingredients to create luxurious, eco-friendly, artisanal candles, essential oils, bath and body care, or a piece of memorial jewelry containing flowers, sand, cloth, hair, fur or ashes from a beloved person or pet.
